Nevertheless, while you forget about the real-world and long-term impacts of such places, your camera is likely to see a lot of hidden, probably unconventional, beauty. This is at least due to their sheer dimensions, and maybe also for the uncommon sensation of literally facing geologic history (and how it is being re-ordered).
